Full Service Enrollment Management

Request
Whatcom Intergenerational High School is seeking a full-service provider to spearhead reaching our 2024-25 school year enrollment goal of 100-120 students, up from our current total of approximately 60 students. Services should include:

  1. Website and social media management

  2. Coordination with our marketing vendor

  3. Spearhead prospective family communication, onsite school tours, and tracking

  4. Manage enrollment management system

  5. Organize school volunteers for on-the-ground community outreach and events

  6. Attend frequent community events to represent WIHS

  7. Meet with local middle schools to identify prospective students

  8. Host open houses at WIHS

Requirements

  1. Your organization must have team members with extensive enrollment experience

  2. You must have an employee who is based in Bellingham, WA or have an employee who is able to travel to Bellingham, WA one to two times per week

  3. You must be able to complete all components of the request, as we are seeking a single vendor to provide these services

Substitute Teacher

SALARY LEVEL: Substrate $160.00 per day/or $20.00 hourly rate 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Director of Education & Operations Coordinator 

JOB SUMMARY: 

A Whatcom Intergenerational High School (WIHS) substitute teacher will provide coverage for a WIHS teacher who is absent. They will provide instruction and create a nurturing classroom environment with clear expectations. A substitute teacher will support the First Peoples Principles of Learning in their teaching and conduct with students and colleagues. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

● Valid Washington State Teaching License or valid Substitute Certificate

● Demonstrated ability to connect with students, staff and community members in a mutually respectful, supportive and accessible manner. 

● Ability to develop, modify, adjust curriculum to meet the individual needs of students.

● Willingness to benefit from building supervision, evaluation programs and professional development. 

● Use school adopted curriculum and assessments. 

● Possess strong student management capabilities. 

● Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal form. 

● Ability to process information to make sound judgments and decisions. 

● Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of staff and stakeholders. 

● Such alternatives to the above qualification as the Director of Education or designee may find appropriate and acceptable.
